Men you gotta love them!

It's so fun living with my husband. You never know what to expect.
In this video we see Jason trying to kill two bugs on our wall.
Look at how he attempts to do this. Hilarious.
Adonis looks like he wants to join him.

The good, the bad, the not so great pictures of my son

This is my baby's first professional pictures ever and boy did they turn out bad.

His teacher warned me about it. She said on picture day all the kids practiced in the classroom saying CHEESE and they were ready to go.

But once they saw that bright flash they got scared & started getting fussy and did not cooperate..

He wouldn't let go of his teacher when she put him down so she had to have him sit on her lap while she lay on the floor to get his picture taken.

This is the result.

Wow was all I could say. We take great pictures at home. Don't know how this happened.

This is the stare down look he gives people when he doesn't like them.

I emailed this to my mom and she said don't buy them. The photographer was not professional. Jason saw it and laughed because he know's this look. He wants to keep them. I think I want to keep them too. It will be great to show him when he gets older. LOL

My question is do I send these out to family???

Pancake Man

My husband makes the best pancakes in the world. It's only bisquick, and milk. Yet they are so fluffy & tasty.
Every sunday morning we are blessed to have them.
Yummy.

The Boo-Boo gets yet another Boo-Boo

I would love to be a stay-at-home mom.
I never knew that I would feel this way till I gave birth to my child.
I never want to leave him.
I've never been around any stay at home mom's.
Growing up every female in my family worked. It's just something you did.
I do like daycare in a way because the kids get to interact with other kids. And it amazes me seeing them together.
However I don't like accidents.
It's one thing if something happens to your child in your care, but it's another thing when it happens in someone else's care.
Not a good thing.
A couple of months ago I wrote about how a new teacher slammed my childs fingers in the sliding door underneath the sink in the infant classroom.
I was so ready to take him out of there.
I even interviewed other daycares.
However the lady did end up leaving shortley after the incident.
So he stayed.
Now a new incident happened this week where his teacher was holding him and wiping his nose & he threw himself into the table & caused this boo-boo.

I wasn't that upset because he did it himself.
But Jason was fuming.
He went to the daycare & picked him up.
I tried calming him down before he got there.
When I got there he was in a meeting with the director and they were discussing ways that this should've been avoided.
Boy did she look frightened. LOL
(Don't mess with that man's son, he will hunt you down.)
The result of their conversation was she shouldn't be wiping his nose by the table because most kids fight away from adults when they do that, and bam an accident takes place.
Eventually hubby calmed down baby's fine, mommy's okay.
Boo-boo is going away.
And mommy wants to know what's next? My heart aches everytime something happens to him at school. :(

Searching for Us

dentist Pictures, Images and Photos
I went to a continuing education class at the University of Pennsylvania Dental School on saturday. The course was a review on Antibiotics.
There were about 100 dentist & other affiliates in the class.
Usually I am the only black person there, or maybe 1 other person.
Well not at this course. There was a total of 9 black folk.
And yes I counted. LOL
There are not a lot of black dentist out there.
In my graduating class of 120 students. 8 of us were black, and we were all female.
Anyways while at Penn I saw a black guy that graduated a year after me, and I was talking to him, asking him where does he practice now etc, when an older black guy came up to the 2 of us & said "there's not a lot of us here huh"
I laughed & said there's 9 of us.
Then he introduced himself to us.

Question:
When you are in a meeting, class, church, or wherever you are, do you count to see how many people of your race are around you?

Late Night Date Night

Last night after the boy went to bed, my husband and I had date night, which consisted of eating popcorn & potato chips and watching Hancock in our bed. It felt great spending some alone time together. With all his school work it's hard getting a couple of hours alone with him. I'm so glad he got to finish his work early this week.
